How it works

All you need to do is answer a few simple questions with a simple yes or no response. The answers to these questions help to narrow down your tax return form so you only work on the areas required. If you answer a question incorrectly just go back into the interview questions and make an adjustment. Next step is to register an account. The system will provide you with a list of documents you require to complete your return. Then you're ready to begin. You should be finished in about 20 minutes and your tax refund will arrive within about 14 working days. It's that easy.

Professional Review Process

Once your return is complete you can continue to process through the payment options. You can choose pay from refun or make an immediate payment via a credit card or BPay option. At the completion of this process you can select 'Lodge' your return as which time your tax return will be lodged with us at Online Tax Australia. A member of our team of Professional and Experienced Tax Agents will then access and check the details included in your return to ensure there are no ommissions or errors. If everything is deem OK your retrun will be lodged directly with the Australian Taxation Office. If we find there are some questions or items that should be explored further we will contact you vis email or phone so these can be resolved as quickly as possible after which your return will be lodged with the Australian Taxation Office.  All returns will be reviewed within 48 hours from when they are lodged with us. 

The service is availabe 24 hours per day with access to information prompts at all stages,  a summary of frequently asked questions to guide you and a help desk support centre. Should there be any question you are unsure of just contact our support centre by phone or email with your question and one of our qualified tax accountants/tax agents will provide you with a response and direction. It's that easy.

Conditional upon the Australian Taxation Office processing we would then expect your refund to be processed and deposited into your nominated bank account with 10-14 bdays from when Online Tax Australia lodge it with them.
